Open Positions

Our Lab is looking for Lab technicians (MTA or BTA), M.Sc. students, MD and Ph.D. students, and Post-Doctoral Researchers.

The research group is embedded within Science Tower of University Hospital Gießen adjacent to the German Center for Lung Research (DZL), offering a vibrant and stimulating environment for young researchers. During one of our projects we will investigate novel molecular CO2-sensing mechanism and their effect on macrophage differentiation and activation. In addition, the effect of CO2 and CO2-adaptive signaling pathways on tumor progression, healings and regeneration within the gut will be determined.
